Games Workshop have announced that they are releasing a new licensed strategy board game, Quest to Mount Doom, due out later this year.

The Tolkien Society is pleased to announce Tolkien 2019, the largest celebration the Tolkien Society has ever held. Taking place at the Macdonald Burlington hotel in Birmingham from 7th to 11th August 2019, the event will bring together hundreds of fans, scholars and artists from all over the world.

The Tolkien Society’s membership has grown in the last year to a new record of having more members now than at any other time in the Society’s history.

Internet rumours claim that Universal are planning on including a Lord of the Rings-themed world in a new theme park in Orlando.

The Bodleian Library has confirmed that, as part of its Tolkien: Maker of Middle-earth exhibition, J.R.R. Tolkien’s Father Christmas Letters will be put on display.

Internet rumours claim that Universal are planning on including a Lord of the Rings-themed world in a new theme park in Orlando.
