We are now calling for papers for the Tolkien Society 2024 seminar, on the theme Tolkien’s Romantic Resonances, which will be a hybrid event held online and in-person at the Hilton Hotel, Leeds on 6th July 2024.
The Centre for Fantasy and the Fantastic at the University of Glasgow is holding a special event to celebrate the 70th anniversary of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Sir Gawain and the Green Knight lecture. It will be held on-campus and online on Thursday 27 April 2023, 5-6:30pm BST. Attendance is free.
Tolkien Reading Day normally takes place on 25th March, signifying the fall of Sauron in The Lord of the Rings.
