The Tolkien Estate has launched a new website. It is a fantastic new educational resource for readers of Tolkien’s works.

Published in English, French, and Spanish, the new website will appeal to readers, fans, and students all over the world. Written by Tolkien scholars and members of the Tolkien family, the information available is of the highest standard and makes use of material unavailable (without permission) elsewhere on the web.

There are articles on Tolkien’s writings (including a timeline of key publications), his paintings and artwork, and various thematic topics.
